Steve is Community Campaign Coordinator for the National Park City Foundation, trustee of Cultivate London, volunteer with Abundance London (where he has recently helped to create and plant the Sleeping Beauty Hedge) and one of the founding members of Friends of Harvard Hill Park (situated directly below the A4).
At London National Park City, Steve coordinates volunteers, runs campaigns and projects, leads the London National Park City Champion programme, and launched and ran the first National Park City Fair and Network Forums.
In his spare time as Revolution Consultancy, Steve worked with Paul Wood (The Street Tree) to build and launch TreeTalk celebrating the diversity of London’s street trees. Working with CPRE London, Steve built and launched the GoParks.London website and campaigns, celebrating London’s parks and supporting parks Friends Groups.
Dr Karen Liebreich MBE
Karen is co-director of Abundance London, Trustee for Cultivate London, Trustee for Hammersmith Community Garden Association. Abundance London carries out many environmental and public realm projects around Chiswick. She is author of The Family Kitchen Garden, and received an MBE for services to Horticulture and Education in 2013 for her work saving the Chiswick House Kitchen Garden.
Kate is a parent of children at St Peter’s C of E Primary School in Hammersmith & Fulham where she is helping to form a Clean Air Council to increase greenery at the school and find ways to mitigate air pollution there. She is a founding trustee of the Tommy Hollis Children’s Fund which gives funding support to local children’s charities. Kate has also volunteered with Abundance London and runs the Twitter account @ParkLifeWLondon in support of local parks.
Andrea, a film-producer director and editor of BAFTA award winning documentaries, turned campaigner in 2018 and founded the Chiswick Oasis: a hugely ambitious clean air project which in less than 3 months the project was not only awarded £32k by the Mayor of London as “one of London’s best civic initiatives of 2018” but managed to raise over £90k towards the creation of a green wall along the perimeter of St Mary’s Primary school which is son is currently attending. In April 2019 Andrea was awarded for his outstanding contribution to the community by the Hounslow Council.
Rory is an urban conservationist and works on greening projects across London. He has a worked to engage Londoners with the wildlife on their doorstep, and improve access to nature for all. While working with the charity Trees for Cities, Rory has worked on projects including hedge and tree planting in school grounds, new woodland creation in parks and pollution busting hedge and street tree planting across over half of London’s 32 boroughs. As a Chiswick local, Rory has been volunteering with Abundance London to improve some of the green spaces in Chiswick.
